Thankful for the Haverford Twp Recreation staff who work hard to keep our Haverford parks clean and beautiful for everyone to enjoy! A special thank you for the care you put into our softball fields! Your hard work gives our athletes a great place to play the game they love. 🥎

Today, on Parks & Recreation Professionals Day, we're celebrating the incredible Park Maintenance team that keeps Haverford Township's parks, trails, and public spaces safe, clean, and beautiful.

From the first cut of the season to the last repair of the day, they're the team working behind the scenes so our community can enjoy every playground, basketball court, tennis court, trail, and park. They mow thousands of acres of green space, install playground equipment, benches, and signs, repair equipment, power wash and paint park amenities, care for township trees and shrubs, plant new trees, and respond to residents' concerns throughout the year.

Their work often goes unnoticed because when everything is working the way it should, it feels effortless. But it takes dedication, skill, and pride to keep Haverford Township's parks looking their best every single day.
