Last week, Haverford College and the Department of Athletics honored Jen Constantino โ04 by inducting her into our Hall of Achievement. Stephanie Frank Scribner โ03 was a three-year team captain and a three-time All-Centennial Conference Honorable Mention.ย As a great teammate and friend of Jen, she spoke beautifully about her at the celebration.
Jen cemented her legacy as one of the most dominant and decorated players in Haverford volleyball history. She was a four-time First-Team All-Centennial Conference selection and received AVCA all region honors twice. She was named to the Centennial Conference Silver Anniversary Team.
She was awarded the Archibald McIntosh award, which is awarded to the top scholar athlete in the first year class and the prestigious Varsity Cup, which is awarded to the top student athlete in the senior class. She ranks first in program history in career kills with 1,685, kills per set with 4.02 and career points with 1,921.5.
Upon graduation, Jen went on to earn her a law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 2007. She became a college volleyball coach and then transitioned into administration where she held roles as an NCAA compliance officer, Deputy Title IX coordinator and an Interim Athletic Director. She served as a civil litigation attorney for the Diane Peppler Resource Center where she supported survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She currently works as a childcare welfare attorney for the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. Sheโs also an adjunct professor, teaching sports law and legal writing.
A player of extraordinary talent, consistency, and impact Jennifer Constantino defined excellence during her time at Haverford and has continued to lead with purpose in her professional life, making her a most deserving member of the Haverford College Athletics Hall of Achievement.
We are honored to have such awesome alumnae and forever Fords as a part of our program. Congratulations, Jen and go Fords!
