JV Diamond Warriors' Potent Offense Too Much For Pungo...

The Gramercy Warriors completed the season sweep of Pungo Christian Academy yesterday on a sunny afternoon at Havelock Recreation Field. Eric "Brady" Klosterman started the game and went one and one-third innings before handing the ball off to Caleb "JC" Sutton for the win. The Jones County lefty went four and two-thirds innings, giving up one run, five hits, striking out eight and tossing 14 first pitch strikes.

Several players had multiple hits for the Warriors including Caleb Sutton (3 singles), Joey Hardin (2 singles) and Evan Siary (2 singles). John Siary smacked a frozen rope to right-center registering the Warriors' first triple of the year.

Special shout out to Ryan "Party Pack" McClure for taking a "heater" to the back and later scoring a run by way of Sam "I am" Abraham.

Thanks to all of the Gramercy fans for taking time out of their day to enjoy a beautiful day at the park and to the Pungo fans and team for making the trip south and representing their school with pride.

The Green and Gold will enjoy some time off for SPRING BREAK and will be back on the road Monday, 24 April against Wilmington Christian Academy. John Siary will be taking the mound for Gramercy. The Diamond Warriors will then turnaround on Tuesday, 25 April and play their final Varsity Conference Game of the regular season against Liberty Christian Academy at Havelock Recreation Field at 4pm. Please continue to show your support for the Green and Gold as they make a run at back-to-back NCCAA Conference Ttiles!
