Hauppauge Youth Organization - HYO Football We will instill in our youth the challenge of competition, the joy of victory, the reality of defeat, the importance of commitment and the spirit of community.

HYO Football & Cheerleading is committed to instilling Honesty, Loyalty, Integrity, Teamwork, Discipline, Sportsmanship, Respect, Leadership, Trust and Commitment in our young participants. We believe these values and virtues are important to their growth and to them becoming active members of our community and society. These goals will be achieved through organizing our dedicated volunteers, caring parents, and business associates who wish to partner with our great youth sport program.

This weekend our Eagles take the field for Week 1, representing Hauppauge both at home and on the road. From our youngest players to our oldest, it’s time to put all that hard work, preparation, and teamwork into action.

Today, the Hauppauge Eagles family pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday Americans who stepped forward in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We remember the families whose lives were forever changed.
We remember the heroes who ran toward danger to help others.
We remember the strength and unity our communities showed in the days that followed.

As coaches, parents, and leaders, we have a responsibility to teach the next generation about courage, sacrifice, service, and standing together.

Today, we remember.
Today, we honor.

🥇 2nd Grade Jacaruso currently holds the top spot!

Football is more than a game. It teaches our kids discipline, teamwork, confidence, leadership, resilience, and what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Now we're asking our community to help us take the next step in protecting the kids who proudly wear HAUPPAUGE across their chest.

🛡️ The Protect Every Eagle Player Safety Initiative has one major goal:

Provide our Hauppauge Eagles athletes with new, modern protective equipment and continue building one of the safest youth football programs on Long Island.

Our vision includes:

🏈 Brand-new Schutt F7 AiR helmets
💪 New Youth Flux shoulder pads
⭐ 5-Star rated helmet protection
📏 Proper equipment fitting
🛡️ Continued safety education and equipment reconditioning
👦 135+ young athletes impacted

But this initiative is about more than buying equipment.

It's about giving parents confidence.

It's about giving coaches the tools to protect their players.

And most importantly, it's about making sure every child who steps onto that field has the protection they deserve.
