As we head into the holiday season, we understand the pressures of being “perfect. Wether it be on our diets, our workouts or both, what we went to emphasize is being consistent over perfect. The holidays are meant to be enjoyed . Enjoy the food, enjoy your family and friends, enjoy the time off work, take this time to unwind and destress . BUT let us not take this time to throw away all of your healthy habits, instead let’s find balance . Adhering to your plan 80/20 or even 70/30 is a great place to start . Fill your plates with nutrient dense foods, then enjoy the pie or the brownie . Take a walk with your loved ones as a way to spend time together instead of heading right for the couch . Get the fresh air, soak up the vitamin D, get your steps in . If you’re extra busy prepping for the holidays, just do a 20 minute workout, it’s better than nothing . Keeping your routine, your promise to yourself , your commitment, your consistency!!! We guarantee, you will feel better during and after this holiday season.
