⭐️Employee Spotlight⭐️
Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness make the biggest impact.
Yesterday, Lauren Jones Thompson shared a post about a Corner Market employee who stopped what he was doing to help an elderly customer safely to her car. She described how he walked with her, smiled the entire time, and treated her as though she was the most important person in the world.
That employee was Chuck Montgomery.
Today, we had the privilege of recognizing Chuck for demonstrating the kind of compassion, respect, and customer service that make a difference in people's lives.
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Lauren for taking the time to share his story. In a world where negativity often gets the most attention, her willingness to recognize an act of kindness allowed thousands of people to be reminded that good people are all around us.
What Chuck did may have seemed like a simple gesture to him, but it spoke volumes about his character. He didn't help because someone was watching. He helped because it was the right thing to do.
That is exactly the kind of person we are proud to have representing Corner Market.
Pictured from left to right are Mark Laudenheimer, Store Director, who came in during his vacation to help recognize Chuck; Chuck Montgomery; Joel Edwards, Chief Operating Officer; and Andrew Brown, District Manager.
Chuck, thank you for reminding us all that kindness still matters. We are proud of you, grateful for you, and honored to recognize you for a job exceptionally well done.
💚 At Corner Market, we strive to be more than a grocery store. We strive to be good neighbors, serve our communities, and treat every customer like family.
Please join us in congratulating Chuck Montgomery!
