This little race has grown into something much BIGGER than we could have ever imagined and we are here for it. With you all by our side, we know this race has just gotten started.

THANK YOU to all the Dog Days athletes, fur babies, volunteers, and sponsors. Because of you ALL, the DOG DAYS RUN WALK WAG raised $26,000 that will go directly to the Alzheimer's Association Mississippi Chapter. We are truly grateful for your support and can not wait to do it again next year. Stay tuned in tomorrow for the 2027 Save The Date.

The 2026 Dog Days photos are up and ready for you to download for free. Just simply click on our website link in the comments below. You can scroll through more than 2000 race day photos or enter your bib number in the bib search box to pull YOUR photos. We can not promise everyone will be captured in our pictures but our photographers did their best and got a TON of fabulous photos.

Friday 4:30-7:00pm Southern Prohibition 📍301 Mobile St
Saturday 6:00 - 7:00 am Kamper Park near the start line 📍on 17th Avenue

Southern Prohibition will have HAPPY HOUR from 3:00 - 6:00pm with select food and adult beverages and dinner continuing into the late evening hours.

Please note that packet pickup will end promptly at 7:15 AM on Saturday with no exceptions. To ensure a successful chip timing event, we request that all locals—and anyone else—retrieve your packet on Friday evening, or arrange for a friend to do so. This will greatly help us avoid a large rush on Saturday morning.

If you must pick up your packet on Saturday morning, please be aware that there may be a long line. We encourage you to arrive early enough to complete your pickup by 7:15 AM.
