Tonight we're bringing a little bourbon to the grill with a Bourbon Red Pepper Ribeye, while keeping things good and Southern with a plate of Pork Chops & Gravy.

CARIBBEAN NIGHT IS COMING TO HCC!

Who says you need to leave town to enjoy a little taste of the Caribbean?

On Thursday, October 29, we're bringing a little island spirit to the Club with our first Caribbean Night & Rum Tasting — an evening of Caribbean-inspired food, great rum, and good company at the Pool Lounge & Swim-Up Bar.

We'll be pouring a selection of Planteray Rums from around the Caribbean, giving you the chance to taste four different expressions and discover a few new favorites along the way.

Your $40 per person experience includes:

Four-pour Rum Flight Board featuring Planteray Rums
Caribbean-inspired buffet
Full HCC menu available for member charge

Chef has two great specials lined up for tomorrow night, and let’s just say there’s a little something for everyone.

Blackened Snapper — fresh, flavorful, and finished with a cilantro lime cream.

Bordelaise Filet — a tender 6oz Prime Filet topped with rich Bordelaise sauce and melted shallots.

We’ll share all the details later today, but if Friday dinner is on your mind… you’re going to want to keep an eye on this one.

Something new is coming to Hattiesburg Country Club.

Starting this October, we're giving you a pretty good reason to look forward to Wednesday nights.

Introducing Wine Down Wednesday—a monthly evening designed around good food, good wine, and even better company.

Our first Wine Down Wednesday will be Wednesday, October 14, featuring a three-course prix-fixe dinner for two, complete with a shared bottle of wine from our Wine Table. Each month, we'll feature a different selection of wines, giving you something new to discover each time.

For October, Chef has put together a menu that feels just right for fall:

First Course — Choice of:
• Shaved Brussels Sprout Salad with pecans, craisins, bacon & bacon vinaigrette
• Potato Leek Soup

Second Course — Choice of:
• Beef Tips with mushrooms & onion gravy, creamy polenta & grilled asparagus
• Half Smoked Chicken with house BBQ, roasted red potatoes & steamed broccoli
• Salmon with creamed spinach & fried polenta cake
• Pasta Primavera with assorted vegetables

Third Course — Choice of:
• Pumpkin Pie with bourbon whipped cream
• Chocolate Lava Cake

$60 per couple, including dinner for two and a shared bottle of wine.

SWIMMING LESSONS ARE COMING TO HCC!

Give your little swimmer the confidence and skills they need in the water with a fun, hands-on 3-day swimming lesson class at Hattiesburg Country Club!
Our HCC Lifeguards will lead three days of instruction designed to help children build confidence, develop water skills, and—most importantly—have fun!

10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Ages: 2 and up
Class Size: Limited to 20 children
Instructors: HCC Lifeguards
Cost: $100 per child
Member accounts will be charged on September 15.
