We may not do social media well.... but we compete, host, coach, hang out, and apparently raise kids with the best of them.

Co-owner hosted Man 2026 yesterday and it went as well as anyone could have imagined. Great day. Great crew.

And we cannot let another day go by without thanking .fitness.the.ell for allowing another year of Mississippi's Strongest Man to run in their house. They have been so good to us. If you are ever in central Mississippi and need an amazing place to train (or call your home gym!), it doesn't get much better than this place. Huge gym, all the amenities, all the equipment, and some good people to run the spot. If you ever see an event hosted here, you know you'll be treated right too!

2024 was THE year for Strongman for Hub City Barbell Club

⬇️Between all of our members, there were:

🥇🥈🥉 36 podium finishes

✔️19 athletes compete in competitions

☝️7 compete in their first competition

🇺🇲8 athletes qualify for nationals

🥇1 USS National Champion

🥇 1 America's Strongest Disabled Man

🥉 1 podium finisher in an Open Pro-Am

🥇🥈 3 representatives for Team Mississippi in 2024s America's Strongest State (3rd Strongest state in the nation! Woo!)

🎉 an uncountable number of PRs and good times had

⬇️ Administratively, Hub City Barbell Club:

🏠 Hosted its first 3 competitions

🚀 Had members step into state leadership roles in USS and SC

🏋‍♂️🏋‍♀️Doubled our Strongman equipment

🔥 Introduced Strongman to countless new people

We are so proud of the Strongman community that has grown in this area and for every competitor that has taken up the Hub City Barbell Club shield and made our place their home gym.
