Does anyone else notice the price of groceries affecting their food shopping? Veggies are outrageous, an avacado is 1.39- that’s crazy ! My groceries have increased so much in the past two months - seems like Bananas are the only produce that has not changed still .59 cents a lb. Anyhoo - meals prepped for the upcoming week- fingers crossed for some clear skies . Church is good , life is good , I guess I should just be thankful I can afford my groceries right now. Hold to my faith , the sparrows never go hungry, and I’m sure he will provide - but the inflation is not fun.

Sitting her along the waters edge with this little guy makes me feel so many emotions, the what if’s in life that you ponder over and over - knowing he is inching closer and closer to the water because of his curiosity, knowing I got him- I’m right here to grab him as he reaches for the water - it’s all so emotional - I know I wasn’t there for my son in that moment , but I know I can’t live there in that moment forever - all I can do is trust God and know he is there with him everyday , and as hard as it is I have to know he loves heaven and I hope to be there with him one day - and I have to know that I will be here for other kids and do my best everyday to protect all of the ones that move closer to the water - or near to things that could potentially harm them. God thank you for your love and strength to allow me to walk through my pain and have faith with you - always -

Holy cow - what a day- new entire wardrobe for Sophia and an entire day at Macdaddys playing games zip lining and lots of food - Nathan got to go to his first game stop and talked gaming with another gamer ( foreign language to me) and he bought several games he always wanted - we are all having so much fun with the Askew’s - Easter weekend has been great!

It’s WWF right here in the living room poor little Nate , either he is gonna be super tough when he grows up or extremely afraid of girls - cause Sophia just wears him out - gotta let them wrestle it out - makes them tired !

welcome “MISS SOPHIA” to the fleet ! This is the first new boat I have ever purchased. I have wanted this boat for SO MANY years, something I put together the way I wanted. I’ve worked so hard to make this day happen. I know to a lot of you guys , it’s just a Carolina skiff , but this boat means more to me than just a paycheck, it’s an accomplishment of lots of struggles , tears , long hours , putting in more effort than I physically had some days . She’s mine , I worked my ass off for her, she’s brand new and shiny! She is going to have Miss Sophia on the stern, just like I always wanted - for my girlie to be a huge part of my life on the water, and for Sophia to know that when we go on the water and make our money- it’s earned , not given, and we do it because we love it, it completes us and gives us purpose and drive to be bigger, better and stronger the next season to come - yes I own a sea shelling business ! Yip I’m damn good at it and my customers know it! There is nothing in the world I’d rather do - here’s to 2021 and the Family Water Adventures that await us !
