Glad to be back on mother ocean!
John Orzecchio and crew onboard to target bluefin tunas. The morning brought fog and a choppy inlet, but the ocean was pretty and the fish were hungry! We found a nice 60” keeper for the fellas, and released 5 ranging from 150-400 pounds. The kings kept us busy as well. Thanks again fellas it was a pleasure! See you next year!

Hello 2026- just wanted to let everyone know that the online booking calendar is up and running. Time to get your days on the books.

The bluefins are here-reach out to me if you want to try to get on one of these monsters. We have some select availability the rest of the month and plenty after 15 February..

We have so much to be thankful for… 2025 was a great year, and I want to thank each customer and friend who fished with us this year, it was a memorable one and we are already looking forward to 2026! With that being said, we are already booking spring trips. The calendar on my website is up to date and ready for your reservation!

Nik and I have been doing some hunting, and after the new year we will be working on some big projects on the Calypso.

We spent the last 2 days fishing with my good friends Charles, Grey, Robbie, Bryson, Mitch and my main man Harker! On Saturday, we caught some meat and the Sailfish had their way with us! Man that’s frustrating! Highlight was that Harker caught not just his first wahoo, but his second as well!
Yesterday we looked high and low for the sailfish, and we had an opportunity and we did not capitalize… we did catch a couple of blackfins. There was a showing of yellowfins about 12 miles from us, and we trolled that way, but by the time we got there, it was shells and feathers!

Thanks again, men. I always enjoy our time together!

Excellent Day with the Ditch Witch crew on a beautiful mother ocean! They also had the Chaser boat booked too- we ended up 5 for 6 or 7 on sailfish- Jared, Michael, Matt, Mitch and Jacob all caught and released sailfish, and we caught a little meat along the way. Day 2 with the Coleman crew. It was an absolutely gorgeous day on mother ocean. We had a great day, just wasn’t able to hang on alot of the bites we had, but we put together a good catch and the fellas were gracious enough to give Nik and I some wahoo! Thanks men, had a great 2 days with yall!

Glad the wind finally let up and it was a great day on mother ocean! We were blessed with a few bites and lucky to hold on to them for Day 1 with the Coleman crew! Including a nice 50 for a NC Saltwater Citation for Griffin! Pretty work fellas!

Great day yesterday with Chris Evans and his crew! Ocean was a little less than slick calm, but it made the fish bite! We caught 7 out of 10 wahoo bites, and a couple kicker blackfin tunas! Great group, Thanks again, folks! It was our pleasure , We will see you Thanksgiving week!

Well, it doesn’t get much prettier than it was today. Mother ocean was gorgeous and we found some hungry fish too!

Saturday we had Richie and Megan onboard. Always good to have familiar folks onboard, especially when they are from your hometown and you’ve know them pretty much all your life! Put together a nice catch of dolphins and a sailfish release for Megan. The Wahoos alluded us all daggone day. But it was a pretty day on mother ocean. Thanks again! Good to see you all!
