There was a lot of grass again today, but it wasn’t formed up nicely. We spent some time looking for the dolphins, but they just weren’t to be found today. Made it to the tuna grounds, and it was all you could want. Eventually, the scattered grass pushed over that area as well, and we spend some more time looking for them. We did raise a sailfish, but it wouldn’t commit to a bait. Looks like a little change in wind direction in the next few days, so hopefully it’ll line this grass up better for us.

Grass, grass, and more grass today. It was scattered all over the ocean today, which makes for tougher fishing. We picked at dolphin and blackfin tuna through the day and made a good catch, with a few gaffers in the mix!

We decided we wanted to start the day looking for the tunas. We found good condition with plenty of birds flying around and tunas busting on bait. When we finished with that, we decided to mix it up. We ran inshore to find some grass lines. We landed right on a school of dolphin and 45 minutes later, we had our limit. Ended the day with a nice gaffer to cap it off. Right at 250 pounds of fish in the boat, and in a little earlier than usual! We still have a few days in July open, including a Saturday or 2. Get up with us to go fishing!

Our group yesterday was able to get this picture of the sailfish mid jump. Pretty cool! We have 4 days left open in June (15, 17, 21, 29). They won’t last too much longer! Get up with us to book. Still have a little availability in July and August as well, including just a few weekend dates.

We had a father/daughters group, and they had good fishing. The goal when we left the dock was to find a few meat fish for some dinners, and to look for a billfish. Mission accomplished. We ended with a meat slam (tuna, wahoo, dolphin) and then a sailfish to round it out! Thanks for fishing with us!

Had a steady pick on the blackfins for us today, and capped it off with a pair of gaffers. Nice weather today and good fishing. Just few days left open this month and then some availability in July still. Get up with us to go fishing!
