Hey members! We appreciate you sticking with us through this long relocation process. We wanted to let you know that you’ll be rewarded for being a grandfathered member when we open the new facility — your monthly dues will be significantly less than what new members pay after the move.

Here’s a reminder of what’s to come: ALL the equipment you requested in last year’s post (plus about four more truckloads of the highest quality equipment), luxury locker rooms with showers and saunas, a coffee/smoothie/protein shake bar, a workspace cafe lounge, a childcare room, two pickleball courts, two ping pong tables, two gaming rooms, and the best community a gym can offer.

Hey members, just wanted to check in and let everyone know where we’re at with the new location.

We are still waiting for septic approval from the health department.  Going on four months of waiting now for this approval, but it’s the last major hurdle to jump through before we get the greenlight to start building. I  wish I could give you a projected opening date but at this point, it would be a random guess.  Construction should start within the next month if everything goes well though.  Most of the trades have been assigned but we’re still looking for framers. If you or anyone you know may be interested in framing for the renovations, please message us on Facebook and we will reach out to set a time to show you the project.

Thanks for your patience and know that it will be worth the wait!  Since the first day we’ve been pushing as fast as we can go, but some things are out of our control.

The Program App is now live on the Google Play Store! Check it out and use it for free.

The app can create workouts and meal plans for you, or you can easily make your own and follow along day by day, so you always have a plan when you come into the gym.

Look back on the calendar to see your past workouts, progress pics, and meals. Link your wearables for real time surplus and deficit tracking, and much more.

Now live on the App Store! It will be available on the Play store within a couple weeks!

For the last couple of months, we’ve been developing an app that will help you stay on track and accomplish your goals.

What it does:

Creates a full personalized workout program/individual workouts based on your goals and limitations, or allows you to create your own that you can follow. Community workouts and programs that you can choose from and load into your dashboard, or share your program with friends.

Creates meal plans and shopping lists based on your custom made meal plans. Or you can easily log your meals by typing a description, manually entering macros, or taking a picture of it.

Links your wearables (whoop, Apple Watch, Oura ring, Fitbit) to see real time calorie surplus/deficit. A true surplus/deficit reading is the no lie indicator of either gaining weight or losing weight.

A daily log that you can look back on past workouts, progress pics, meals, supplements, notes, etc.

Everything was designed for speed and convenience so you don’t have to spend much time to track what truly matters in your fitness journey.

This is there very first release of the app so it won’t function perfect but we’ve worked out all the bugs that we’ve noticed so far while using it. There’s a feedback tab that you can send in any complaints or things you’d like to see added to the app and we will read them all!

This app will forever be free to The Other Body Shop members so don’t worry about having to pay for it if there’s an update that says you will.

Hey everyone, a lot of people have been asking about the new location and when we are planning on moving over.

It’s been a long process to get approvals from the Township but we finally did last week. Construction will start in the next week or two and hopefully we will have it all wrapped up in a few months but could be longer. We will keep you posted throughout the build. This waiting time has allowed us to develop an app that has just been released on the App Store. I’ll make a separate post about it here in a minute.

Also, the rumors are true. We will have a rec area with pickleball, ping pong, gaming rooms (Xbox ,Nintendo, PS5). We will also have a kid friendly room that you can drop your little ones off during your workout. More cardio and strength equipment - almost double the current equipment. And we will have a coffee/protein shake/smoothie bar that will be open during staffed hours.
