Let’s hear it for the incredible people who stood out there in the cold, rain, wind, and mud cheering us on at Barry Roubaix! It might have taken a few minutes to climb the wall or conquer the Sisters, but the Hastings Middle School drum line, Dick and Dianne Wright, Kathy L 🦖, and the bagpipers were out there for hours in those same conditions, playing their hearts out and cheering us on every pedal stroke of the way!
Your energy helped get us through those tough conditions!
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

And now we have the winners of the 18 mile presented by Eversource Wealth Advisors!

The 18-mile brought some of the most exciting moments of the day! In the men’s race, Joe Miller powered to the win in 00:56:31, staying smooth through the mud to hold the front. Behind him, the fight for second came down to the line, where Trenton Mercer (00:57:38) edged out Donald Ahrens (00:57:44) in a tight sprint finish.

On the women’s side, Lindsey Desarmo took top honors in 01:08:05 with a strong, controlled ride. Autumn Holzgen (01:09:50) kept the pressure on to secure second, while Kayleen Snider (01:11:48) rounded out the podium after a solid effort in challenging conditions.

In the non-binary race, Karley Metzger (01:32:38) claimed the win, with Devyn Corinne finishing second in 03:36:25.

Tony Spagnuolo took top honors in the para-athlete category, finishing in 01:46:23.

In a year defined by mud, rain, grit, and resilience, 2026 will be remembered as an edition where the course won plenty of battles, and every finisher earned it. Thanks to everyone who showed up ready to take it on and made it a day to remember!

And thanks once again to and for these photos!

We’ve said it once and we’ll say it again THANK YOU to all our incredible volunteers and the locals who showed up big time out on course for this year’s Barry Roubaix 🙌
From cheering in the cold rain and wild wind to keeping racers moving forward, you made the day what it was. Huge shoutout to everyone at the aid stations, our corner marshals, and all of you who jumped in to help wherever it was needed.
We loved seeing the new 100 mile aid station hosted by Gardens Galore and powered by the crew serving up amazing homemade treats. Same with our McCallum Church and Cedar Creek aid station staples! Locals were out there hosing down bikes, swapping gloves, and literally saving rides. Jordan Timmerman offering those special lattes 😉 to give people the extra boost needed to climb the wall. The middle school drum line at the top of the three sisters and bagpipers bringing all the energy while they themselves were getting soaked! That’s commitment! And of course Dick and Diana Wright 🦖 cheering everyone through when needed the most!
This event only works because of this community. Barry County, you showed up and we are so grateful. Thank you 💙
