BREAKING NEWS: The Hastings Hurricanes are excited to announce that we will be opening a giant day of baseball in our community, on the biggest, best weekend of the Summer! We will be welcoming the Northfield Millers to town on Saturday, July 18th, at 1pm, for the RIVERTOWN DAYS RIVER RUMBLE 2026! We will be followed by the Hastings Hawks and Bay City Bombers after our game wraps up, closing the day of baseball before you hit your favorite RTD events! The Hurricanes will have numerous raffles and giveaways during the Hurricanes-Millers game, including tickets to your favorite pro baseball teams, golf fun, and so much more. CANES SURGE BEHIND BAHL BOMB:

The Hastings Hurricanes opened a new rivalry with some familiar faces, going into King Park, coming back late, to pull away with a 12-6 South Division victory over the Lakeville Bulldogs! Steve Bahl’s usual King Park home run was a HUGE one getting the Canes back in the game in the fifth. Hastings jumps to 9-2 with the win.

PETRICKA WOWS, QUIETS STORM 6-2:

The Elko Chuggers unveiled a new toy to the Federal League on Sunday, and put all teams on notice, as former MLB Pitcher Jake Petricka slowed the Hurricanes bats, in a 6-2 Elko win at Fredrickson Field. The Canes battled tough against Petricka, who threw professionally in MLB as recently as 2021, and Derrick Pfeffer battled tough in a complete game effort on the other side of the mound.

The Canes will play next at Northfield, on Sunday night at 7pm!!
