My son,Wyatt, connected with this big Tom during Delaware Youth Season this past weekend.

We first heard him gobble once on the roost behind us, about 200 yards out, and then nothing. As the sun came up shining through the woods, he sounded off again around 7:30, much closer this time. I hit him with the Nasty Gal call and he answered several times. After that, I went quiet, hopeful he would come. He stayed silent for nearly 30 minutes. I tried another short series of calls with no response, and then the waiting game really set in.

15 minutes later, he came in quietly from behind us, slipping past our blind at just 10 yards and heading straight into the decoys. Once he reached them, he started putting, I gave Wyatt the green light and he didn’t hesitate. He made a perfect shot, and that bird dropped right there.

This is his biggest bird to date at 11 years old. Couldn’t be more proud.

As another turkey season comes to a close, we want to thank each and every one of our customers for your support this season. We hope our products helped create memories in the turkey woods and played a part in your success this spring.

Seeing your photos, hearing your stories, and sharing in your successes is what makes all the hard work worthwhile. Thank you for supporting our family-owned, veteran-owned business. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

Another season is officially in the books, and what a season it was.

From chasing Merriam’s out West for the very first time to watching Gabe and Weston harvest their first longbeards, this spring was filled with moments we’ll never forget. There were early mornings, long miles, plenty of laughs, and memories made with family and friends that will last a lifetime.

The seasons may come and go, but the memories, stories, and experiences we share in the turkey woods stay with us forever.

Most importantly, we give all the glory to God. We are thankful each and every day for the opportunity to enjoy His creation and do what we love.

Until next spring… the countdown begins. 🦃

It’s hard to put into words that another turkey season has come and gone. Part of me wishes we could chase these amazing birds 365 days a year, but then I wonder if the fire and passion to hunt them would still burn the same every single day.

This season brought plenty of highs and lows, memories made, lessons learned, and moments I’ll never forget. I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world. Tomorrow we get one more chance to hear a gobble in the spring woods, so let’s cherish every second of it.

Then it’ll be time to start dreaming about geese, elk, and deer season once again. 🦃

And just like that my PA season comes to a close. Feeling extremely fortunate and grateful to the wild turkey and the opportunities it has brought me in life. The experiences and memories of one turkey season can change your life forever. Time is never promised and any hunt could be your last, i wont take one single moment for granted. God is good.

Today we honor the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for this country. Because of their courage, we are blessed to live in freedom each and every day.

Freedom is never free. It was paid for by heroes who were willing to lay down their lives for their fellow Americans and for future generations they would never meet.

As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, let’s never take that freedom for granted. Take a moment to remember those who never made it home and the families who continue to carry that sacrifice every day.

We remember. We honor. We are forever grateful. 🇺🇸
