We're thrilled to celebrate another achievement for our OTA Black belt Athlete, Connor Ong, who has won the Silver Medal at the recently concluded Virtual Taekwondo competition in the 2026 Chuncheon Korea Open International Taekwondo Championships. This prestigious event marked the first G1 Virtual Taekwondo event held in Asia, showcasing 78 athletes from 15 countries.
Representing the USA Team, Connor made it to the finals of the Under 14 Mixed division, facing strong competitors from Korea (3rd), Indonesia (4th), and another USA team member. His dedication and skill have brought pride not only to himself but also to our academy.
This achievement is another milestone for OTA-USA, following the success of last month's Roma Grand Prix, where Sir Nathan Henn brought home Silver Medal too. We're equally proud of Sir Kyle, Ayan, and Marco for giving their best in the competition.
A heartfelt congratulations to everyone involved, especially head coach GM Lito, coach GM Tony, and trainers Master Mike and Master Miguel, whose guidance and support have been invaluable. Well done, team!
