Unfortunately, we’ve made the decision to cancel this weekend’s Harvest Classic. With it falling on a holiday weekend, we just weren’t able to get enough teams together to make the tournament happen.

But there’s still more softball coming to Harveyville! We have a few independently hosted tournaments coming up at the ball field, with the organizers generously donating a portion of their tournament proceeds to HBA to help us staff and operate concessions during their events. We’re incredibly thankful for their support!

As for our own HBA tournaments, we’re hoping to squeeze in one or two more before the end of the year. If schedules, holidays, or weather don’t cooperate, we’ll be back at it early spring before the 2027 ball season begins!

Thank you to the teams who were ready to play this weekend and to everyone who continues supporting our tournaments, concessions, and ball field. We’ve had an awesome year of softball in Harveyville, and we’re not finished yet!

HARVEST CLASSIC — SEPTEMBER 5TH!

We’re heading into fall with another full day of softball in Harveyville! Our Harvest Classic Slow Pitch Softball Tournament is coming up Saturday, September 5th, and we’re looking for 8 teams ready to play! 🙌

• 8 Team Tournament
• 3 Game Guarantee
• $300 Team Entry
• Men’s & Women’s Home Run Derby at 2:00 PM
• Harveyville Ball Field

We’ve had such a great turnout for our tournaments this year, and every team that comes out continues to help us work toward our goal of a new fence for the Harveyville Ball Field! ❤️

We still have several tournament weekends ahead of us this season, and we’d love a little help from our community putting together some fun raffle prizes!

We’re looking for donated items, gift cards, experiences, or monetary donations that we can use throughout our remaining tournaments to build some bigger raffle packages.

A few ideas we’d LOVE to put together:

🥎 Softball Basket — batting gloves, bat grips, athletic tape, sticky spray, sporting goods gift card, etc.

🧊 Tournament Day Cooler — cooler, cooling towels, tumbler, drinks and other fun goodies

🎟️ Experience Package — concert tickets, event tickets, restaurant gift cards, date-night items, etc.

⚾ Big-Ticket Item — a bat or another larger softball/baseball item would make an AMAZING raffle prize!

And honestly, we’re open to anything! If you own a business and have a product, service, gift certificate or merchandise you’d like to donate, we would be incredibly grateful.

Monetary donations are welcome too, and we can use those funds to purchase items to complete raffle packages for any of our upcoming tournaments.

Our raffles serve a really important purpose for the Harveyville Ball Association. Raffle proceeds help us cover the cost of the extra help needed to keep concessions running during these long tournament days. That allows the money we earn through the rest of our tournaments to continue going toward what we’ve been working so hard for — our new ball field fence. ❤️💛

This community has already shown up for us in SO many ways, and every donation — big or small — helps us keep moving toward that goal.

Another tournament in the books!

Congratulations to our Home Run Derby winners and to Black Sheep for taking home the tournament championship on Saturday!

We also just wanted to say thank you to all 7 teams that came out and supported Harveyville this weekend. Every team that chooses to play here is helping us work toward our goal of replacing our fence, and we truly appreciate it.

It’s been amazing to watch these tournaments continue to grow, and we couldn’t do it without all of you. We hope everyone had a great weekend, and we can’t wait to see you back in Harveyville again soon! 🥎

And one last special shout out goes to Trey Jacobson. ❤️

Saturday, we went through 12 pounds of ground beef for our loaded nachos (the most we’ve ever done in a day). As we were running low toward the end of the night, Trey went home, grabbed another 4 pounds of her own home-raised beef, and donated it so we could keep serving customers.

She didn’t hesitate. She just saw a need and stepped in to help.

Moments like that remind us that this isn’t just about softball or a new fence. It’s about a community of people who believe in what we’re trying to build and are willing to help however they can.

Trey, thank you for your generosity. We appreciate you more than you know!

That means there are only 3 spots remaining before we’re full!
