These outstanding students applied and were recommended by their teachers for the opportunity to serve in a variety of leadership roles throughout our school. We are so proud of their willingness to step up, serve others, and represent the very best of what it means to be a North Hart Bullpup! 🐾

💛 A Note to Our North Hart Families: There are many ways for students to serve, lead, and make a difference at North Hart! The Student Ambassador program is just one of many opportunities available to our students.

This particular program is offered each year to our rising 3rd and 4th graders, but many more opportunities for students to get involved, serve others, and grow as leaders will be introduced and highlighted throughout the school year.

We can’t wait to see all the ways our Bullpups will lead, serve, and shine! 🐾🧡🖤

Every great tumbler starts with mastering the basics. 💗🖤

A handstand may seem like a simple skill, but it is one of the most important foundation skills in tumbling. It teaches body awareness, balance, strength, and the body positions that carry over into nearly every advanced skill.

Watch this athlete closely:
✨ She begins and finishes in a strong lunge, showing complete control of the skill from start to finish.
✨ She pushes tall through her shoulders instead of sinking into them.
✨ Her core is tight with no arch in her back.
✨ Her legs are squeezed together.
✨ Her toes are beautifully pointed.
✨ Every part of her body is working together to create one strong, straight line.

Those details matter. They tell us this isn’t just a child who can “do a handstand”…it’s an athlete who has truly mastered the handstand.

That doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from slowing down, drilling the fundamentals, and refusing to skip steps.

At Bulldawg Elite Allstars, we don’t just teach kids to “get the skill.” We teach them to understand the skill. Every body position has a purpose, and when athletes learn the correct technique from the beginning, they build skills that are safer, stronger, more consistent, and far more beautiful to watch.

If your child’s handstand doesn’t look like this yet, that’s okay—but it may simply mean they haven’t been taught the proper progressions and technique. A technically correct handstand is the foundation for cartwheels, walkovers, back handsprings, tucks, and countless other tumbling skills. Skipping these details often leads to bad habits that become much harder to fix later.

Strong basics create strong athletes. We don’t rush progress—we master it. Because confidence comes from proper technique, and safety will always be our number one priority.
