Had 2 great days on the bait shack build. Thanks to my beautiful wife for her help in all this! She is such an amazing woman! ❤️🙏❤️ She always goes above and beyond..... 🙌🙏🙌

Sunday was a breakfast date, then another trip to Lowe's for materials. We managed framing up the 2 load bearing walls.

A slight screw up on my part.... 🤦‍♂️🙄🤦‍♂️

We sheeted the wall before standing it up. Normal..... except I did not check my bottom plate before, sheeting it. We stood it up only to notice the bottom plate was bowed, bad. Was a 1/2" gap between the bottom plate and the subfloor. Which was strange as it all squared out perfectly. How does that happen? 🤷‍♂️ So we had to rip off the osb, destroying 2 sheets of osb to relax the wall. Uhg....
But we got it "squared" away and kept going. 👍

Yesterday she had to work so, it was on me to get R done before the storm came in at midnight. No water on the subfloor! It's a pet peeve of mine....

I framed up the east and west walls. Got the roof trusses up. And most of the roof done. Getting dark, fast, and out of gas.... I got the headlamp out and continued on. Managed to get 7 more sheets on the wall to close it in from the rain coming. Christina Buettner grabbed a 20x30 tarp on her way home (thank you so much, baby doll!), and she helped me get it wrapped up. 👊

We have 3 days of good weather starting tomorrow so; I'll finish nailing the roof sheets and side walls.

Its getting there. Literally building this business from the ground up! 👊👍🇺🇲

We had a beautiful afternoon on Cotaco creek today. The kayaks are amazing! Loving the stability and fishing comfortability of them. These Nucanoe Unlimited's are awesome! 👍

We managed to get into a mess of hybrid striped bass, and a couple large mouth bass. It was a beautiful afternoon! I love spending time with my wife on the water.... ❤️🔥❤️

The score today was....... uhg! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
