We at Deer crack are not great internet posters but we make a great product we would like to thank all our customers and Hunters that believe in and use our product every year. On this eve of opening day we would like to say a prayer for all the hunters and all the game that are about to give their lives so that we may eat.!
Heavenly Father, Creator of the forests, fields, and flowing waters,
I come before You with humility and gratitude as I prepare to enter the wilderness today.
You formed every creature with purpose, every tree with beauty, every sunrise with promise.
As I step onto this land, I acknowledge that I walk upon a world that is Yours,
And I thank You for the privilege of living from the earth You have provided.
Grant me clear mind, steady hand, and disciplined judgment.
Let no impatience guide my choices, and let no thoughtless moment lead to harm.
Help me respect the life around me—
The wind moving through the grass,
The quiet watchfulness of the woods,
And the creatures who depend on this land as much as I do.
Protect me and those who hunt beside me.
Keep our footing firm, our awareness sharp,
And guard us from accident, injury, and carelessness.
May no shot be taken in haste,
And may every decision honor both safety and the sacredness of life.
If today I am granted success,
Let me receive it with gratitude and reverence.
May I never take lightly the taking of a creature’s life.
Teach me to harvest only what is needed,
To waste nothing,
And to remember that all sustenance is ultimately a gift from Your hand.
If today brings no harvest,
Let me still return with a thankful heart—
Thankful for time spent in creation,
For the quiet moments of reflection,
For the chance to feel Your presence
In the rustling leaves and the crisp air of morning.
Bless the land that supports us,
The animals that nourish us,
And the people who share this tradition across generations.
Help me remain a good steward—
Protecting habitat, respecting boundaries,
And ensuring that the wild places we cherish
Will endure for those who come after us.
Lord, guide my steps, sharpen my senses,
And remind me always that the hunt is more than the harvest—
It is patience, humility, gratitude, and connection
To You and to the world You have made.
