Last night's Heated Rivalry Watch Party was nothing short of INCREDIBLE! I want to thank each and every one of you who showed up to make my first event such a complete success. 🥰
Here are some highlights from the night, starting with two amazing acts by the incomparable .daddy who went so above and beyond my expectations. I'm still beaming. 💙
And ending with who were a massive part of my vision for this event from the start. The energy and positive vibes they consistently bring are the cherry on top at any hockey related event and beyond! These are just unbelievably great guys. Period. 🏒
Thank you to who absolutely nailed the night's soundtrack throughout. I could not have asked for a better, more perfect DJ for this event. 😍
Thank you to my girl for being not only a super friend, but one of the most creative souls and collaborators a girl could ever ask for. Love you SO much, boo! 😘 Also a huge thanks to Jesse for being an all around doll and a fantastic helper and bartender. ❤️
Last but not least, thank you to for allowing me to host this event there. My favorite bar in New Haven and there's nowhere else I would have chosen for this. So thank you for seeing my vision and rolling with it! You guys are the best! 😊
Thank you AGAIN to all the gorgeous people in attendance. The whole point of this for me was to celebrate a show that has brought so many of us hope during a pretty dark timeline. A show that brought my love of hockey full circle with my lifelong allyship and activism involving the LGBTQ+ community. I didn't want to host a "gay" party or a "straight" party. I wanted to host a human party. And that's what we did. A glorious mix of people, inclusive and fun. Love is love and hockey is for everyone.
Let's do this again, huh?
