We want to congratulate to Angela and Joe on their 2nd Place finish in the Team Sorting today! 🏆🤠

We’re proud to see Angela and her horse, “Ima Laredo Joe”, finding success together.
She recently purchased him from us, and it’s so exciting to watch this team already making their mark in the arena.

This is just the first of many placings and accomplishments to come, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for this pair. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the horses we raise, train and sell go on to become winning partners for their new owners.

Our breeding season is in full swing, and we’re excited to showcase the stallions we selected for this year’s foal crop.

At Schnaufer Quarter Horses, we breed for horses that can go to work. We look for athleticism, cow sense, trainability, sound minds, and the kind of grit it takes to make a ranch horse, rope horse, or all-around partner.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be highlighting each stallion we bred to this year, sharing what we love about them and why we believe they’ll help us continue producing quality horses that can perform in and out of the arena.

For years, Dad has hand picked and ridden great mares, always focusing on what truly matters good minds, athletic ability, soundness, and quality that lasts. Every cross, every breeding decision, and every horse has been built with purpose behind it.

🔥 Big shoutout to Billie Dee Stewart and Buddy! 🔥

Second time EVER being entered and they went and placed 2nd in the 3D! 👏🏼
That’s the kind of grit and heart we love to see.

Buddy is extra special to us not only because we raised him, but he’s also a half brother to my main girl Holly that I rodeo and rope on. Seeing him out there doing his job and already finding success means a whole lot to us!

We couldn’t be more proud of this pair and can’t wait to see what’s ahead for them. Keep after it, y’all!

Congratulations to Sadie Milstead on her SECOND purchase of a Schnaufer Quarter Horse! 🤎

There are some stories in the horse business that just remind you how God has a plan for everything.

About four years ago, i met Sadie and her family a little bit over half way. I think it was 5 hours for both of us. They were buying a pony i had for sale. Before i left i decided to load up a young little c**t named Mabel i had been riding so the other horse would have a buddy on the trailer ride.

Well… that plan changed pretty quick because before we left the walmart parking lot they left with both of them!

Since then, Mabel has surpassed every expectation and turned into Sadie’s number one main rodeo mount, and it has been so special for us to watch them grow together and succeed.

We truly believe sometimes things are just meant to be, and God has a way of lining the right horses up with the right people.

This week we were thankful to have Sadie spend part of her spring break with us and find her next future superstar “Cattlelac.”

Cattlelac is a 5-year-old gelding we raised and have been riding and using outside working cattle.
We are excited to watch Sadie and this one grow together and see where they go in the arena.
