Our teens have recently taken a leap out of their comfort zones to learn a completely new sport: golf. We implemented a weekly class to get them outside and engaged in a fresh activity, and they have truly fallen in love with their time on the golf course.

This experience has been possible thanks to First Tee at the Goodwin Golf Course. Their program has created an excellent environment for our teens to learn, build confidence, and stay active together each week.

Watching them embrace this challenge and genuinely enjoy the process of mastering a new skill has been a highlight for us. We look forward to seeing their passion and skills continue to grow on the green!

Our incredible Girls Creating a Future participants, along with several of our wonderful members, took the stage to show us exactly what they've got! 🎶🌟It was an absolute blast filled with:🎵

Amazing songs😂 Non-stop laughs🍕 Delicious food Everyone had a wonderful time bringing the community closer together through music.

🌟 Celebrating One of Wilson-Gray’s Finest — Candra! 🌟

Today, we celebrated one of Wilson-Gray’s many finest as Candra was passed the torch as our Employee of the Month! 🏆💙 She received the honor from our outgoing Employee of the Month, Nick Kerr, who proudly passed the torch to her.

There are so many wonderful things we could say to describe Candra as a person, but two words immediately come to mind: CARING and LOVING. ❤️

Candra truly loves what she does. From pouring her heart into her girls in Girls Creating a Future, to showing care and compassion to all of our members who need a helping hand, she continues to make a difference every day.

Her kindness, dedication, and genuine love for the people she serves are just some of the reasons she is so special to the Wilson-Gray family.

Congratulations, Candra! 🎉👏🏽 You deserve to be celebrated! Keep shining, keep caring, and keep being the amazing person you are.

Success deserves to be celebrated!

Our Girls Creating a Future participants spent the day creating cakes to honor themselves and their accomplishments.

When young women are given opportunities to recognize their strengths and celebrate their progress, they develop greater confidence, self-esteem, and belief in their potential. These moments remind them that their voices matter, their goals are important, and their hard work deserves recognition.

We are incredibly proud of each young woman in this group and look forward to seeing all the amazing things they will accomplish.

We are so excited to welcome the Ryan Martin Foundation to the Wilson-Gray YMCA! Through this new partnership, there will be adaptive basketball clinics in our gym every Saturday, giving young athletes the opportunity to build their skills, confidence, and love of the game.
