Update! todays games are puddled out. Plus there is now a decent chance of t-storms rolling through tonight. All our CTl Summer Classic games are now tomorrow and Friday at Dunkin’ Park. 🤞 for good weather

Game 3 is now the first game of the CTL summer Classic on Thursday (tomorrow, 6/19) and starts at 5:30pm. No change to this game. Game 3 is presented by Barile Realty and Elm Realty Advisors. This game is the battle of Rocky Hill with the taking on the .bucks . Good luck gentlemen!

Tomorrow at 8pm (THU 6/19)… the vs will face off in the next CTL Summer Classic game. This game is presented by an amazing long time league sponsor, Willimantic Brewing Company in Willimantic!

The final game (which originally was tonight at 8pm) will now be played at 6pm on Friday 6/20. This game is presented by the fantastic and also long time sponsor, Back East Brewing Company in Bloomfield ! Here we have the take on the . Should be a great game!

As a reminder, these games are open for all fans. Admission is free, but we do ask for a small donation if you can to help us offset some costs. Consessions will be open and we’ve got some other cool surprises in store as well. Come down to the game! See you there

The time is almost here…
Tomorrow 5:30PM (WED 6/18)… we open day 1 of our 2025 CTL Summer Classic at Dunkin’ Park with a matchup of two talented teams, the and the . Game 1 of the CTL Summer Classic is presented by an amazing long time league sponsor, Willimantic Brewing Company in Willimantic!

Game 2 follows a half hour after game one, 8pm start time. Game two is presented by the fantastic and also long time sponsor, Back East Brewing Company in Bloomfield ! game 2 sees the take on the . Should be a great game!

Tonight, the playoffs get going… and this year with a slightly new format as voted on by the coaches in our preseason. We are giving the tried and true double elimination bracket a try. No more bottom teams starting with a loss in the elimination bracket, no more separate best of 3 championship series. The only slightly different thing from a traditional double elimination bracket is we have a single elimination play-in game between our 8 & 9 seeds (the and the .bucks ) that opens our 2024 playoffs tonight at 6pm. The winner of that game enters the double elimination bracket and gets thrown straight in the fire with a matchup vs our top seed and defending champion, the at 8pm.

This year all our playoff games are held at Legends Field in Newington, Fuessenich Park in Torrington, and Muzzy Field in Bristol. Any rain has the potential to shift the schedule back some bit we’ve tried to minimize that impact with multiple fields. Pray for good weather. Good luck to all teams.

For the 8th straight year, we return to the best minor league stadium in baseball to play our Summer Classic Games. This year we have some great matchups on deck. It kicks off at 5:30pm Tonight 6/17, first with a rematch of our 2023 CTL Championship, with the New Britain Rock Cats (our 2023 champs) facing the team they beat, the Wolcott Terryville Scrappers (our 2022 champs). Then second game that night will see the Elmer's Angels face off with the Barile Realty Rockies. Tomorrow night (TUE 6/18), the Connecticut Orioles face the Wethersfield Dodgers at 5:30pm. In the final game, the Enfield Patriots take on the Bristol shock at 8pm. We are looking forward to a couple great nights of baseball. Unfortunately with the odd amount of teams, our newest team the Rocky Hill Buck$ will not be part of this years CTL Summer Classic, but are guaranteed a spot in next years games.

Admission is free, but we do take donations to help offset costs. Concessions are open. Its a great night of baseball for the family. Come on down!

The Wolcott Terryville Scrappers took home the top spot in our regular season and thus top seed and bye heading into the playoffs. The surging NB RockCats Twilight team came in second, and also getting the first round bye. The playoffs start tonight at 6pm with a game between the Rocky Hill Rockies and the Bristol Shock, followed by a matchup of the Elmer's Place Angels and the Enfield Patriots Baseball. Good luck to all teams

One last special thank you goes out to two of our major team sponsors that also stepped up to sponsor the 2023 CTL Summer Classic Games at Dunkin’ Park. Both of them have been sponsors of baseball for a while now and big thanks once again for stepping up to help make our annual tradition in Hartford possible. Continental Scrap Metal is a team and title sponsor for our Wolcott Terryville Scrappers and helped them immensely with fields and uniforms this offseason. Huge thanks to the first of our returning partners for our CTL Summer Classic Games at Dunkin’ Park… Back East Brewing Company ! This is their second year partnering with our league and we can’t thank them enough. Back East is located in Bloomfield, makes some amazing beers (many pictured here), and have a great atmosphere at their brewery. Stop by and try out their amazing beers and get some food from one of the regular food trucks they have on site. Such a good spot!

Huge thanks to the our amazing returning league partner for our CTL Summer Classic Games at Dunkin’ Park… Connecticut Valley Brewing Company ! Connecticut Valley is located in South Windsor and makes so many great brews, spiked smoothies, and so much more. In addition to that they have an amazing coffee shop and food made on premises. Definitely check them out if you haven’t. They often do classic car events and have a great laid back atmosphere. This is their 3rd year partnering with the CTL and we can’t thank them enough. Stop by and try out their amazing beers, grab some coffee, or just go have a relaxing evening there.

Huge thanks once again, to our amazing longest running league partner for our CTL Summer Classic Games at Dunkin’ Park… Willimantic Brewing Company! Willibrew is sponsoring our 8pm game tonight at Dunkin’ Park in Hartford between the Rocky Hill Rockies and the Wolcott Terryville Scrappers. Come out tonight for some fantastic baseball, free admission, concessions open.

Willimantic Brewing Company has been so good to us for so many years. They started as just the place many teams went after playing against the Willimantic Ridges. Later they partnered with the Willibrew Ridges to be a team sponsor. Around the same time they came aboard and supported our whole league for the CTL Summer Classic games. Thank you so much for your direct support the last 7+ years, and for much longer as a favorite league hangout! If you are ever out in Eastern Connecticut up by UConn or ECSU, drop in at Willibrew for a fantastic meal and some great in house brewed beer.

Tonight, the 2023 CTL Summer Classic Games at Dunkin’ Park kicks off at 5:30pm, followed by game 2 at 8pm

Game 1 is sponsored by and features the third matchup of the year between the and the . Who wins the runner game after they split earlier this year at Muzzy Field.

Game 2 is brought to you by and features a matchup between longtime rivals the and the . The Angels won the only meeting this year between the two teams.

Spread the word, come down to the Dunkin’ Park for a great night of baseball by some of the best local ball players around. Should be some great baseball. Admission is free but donations as welcome, concessions are open. Join us tonight!
