Well we seen our second snake last night. Geraldine was able to carefully get him off the road so nobody would run over him. Gosh! I don’t know how she does it!

At the end of tonight’s walk we seen a beautiful sunset! Annnd we saw another snake! This makes two snakes. Two too many for me! Again, Geraldine being the animal lover she is, had to get him out of the road so he didn’t get ran over. Gosh! I don’t know how she does it!

Up and in the water early this morning! We had a swim trainer beside us in the next lane. She gave us some great pointers and advice! 🏊‍♀️. My rotator cuff still isn’t allowing me to do like I want. Pray that my arm fully heals. Meantime, Geraldine is doing great!

Today was just a 3 mile recovery walk. Didn’t want to push hard today since we raced yesterday. Beautiful morning!

Great race! The largest turnout on record of 348 racers! Going for Gold proceeds goes to help fight childhood cancer. Water World gives everyone they registered a free ticket for the day. Geraldine and I had personal best results today!! Geraldine finished the race at 39:45 with a 12’35 min per mile pace! 👏. I finished at a 45:11 with a 14’11 min per mile pace!! 👏 Stella Banta finished at 47:38 and Steve Hartman finished at 54:04! 👏💪🏼
