Central Valley Golf Course Central Valley Golf Course is a public 18-hole golf course located along SD Highway 38 in Hartford, SD

Originally designed as a 9-hole golf course, Central Valley started construction in 1969 and opened to the public on May 23, 1970. Under the supervision of Course Superintendent & Project Manager Mike Smith (GCSAA), the course expanded to 18-holes on August 10, 1991. 🏗️ EXCITING THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT THE VALLEY! 🏗️

We’ve got some big improvements happening on the golf course this week as NEW CART PATHS are going in! 🚜⛳️

The project will affect Holes #2, #9, #10 and #16. During construction, Holes #2, #9 and #16 will be played from temporary tee boxes.

We’re excited about these improvements and what they’ll mean for the course moving forward! 🙌

👉 Please respect our workers and give them plenty of space to work on this project. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated while we make these improvements.

⛳ HOLE #2 UPDATE! ⛳

We’re making some improvements to Hole #2 at The Valley! 🏌️‍♂️

As we work on the hole, Hole #2 will be played as a Par 3 for the remainder of the year.

Please help us protect the improvements by staying off the teeing areas. If your ball ends up inside the roped-off area, please take a drop outside of the roped area.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we work to make Hole #2 even better! ⛳

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who competed in yesterday's 2026 Central Valley Men's Club Championship! We appreciate everyone who came out, competed, and made it another great championship.

Congratulations to our 2026 Men's Club Champion, Drew Simon! 🏆 An outstanding performance and a well-deserved title!

We'd also like to congratulate all of our flight winners for their excellent play throughout the championship. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this year's event a success.

We look forward to seeing everyone back on the course for next year's championship—and don't forget to sign up for the Central Valley Men's Open coming up on August 2nd!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Central Valley Ladies Invitational!

We truly appreciate you spending your day with us at Central Valley Golf Club. Your enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and support made this year's event a tremendous success. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, welcome new players, and enjoy a great day of golf together.

We hope you had a fun and memorable experience, whether you were competing for prizes or simply enjoying a day on the course with friends.
