Victories were not plentiful for the 6G Gold team, but they did master Hustisford twice. This set was taken from the second win at home.

Photos from the 8G girls game December 20, 2017 have been uploaded. This team finished with a 7-8 record. The 8G class only had one victory last season. The 7G class had four wins last season. Combined these two classes had a bit more fun this season PLUS third place at the HNR tournament! (See the videos.) Congratulations! check out more pics in the photos section.

The photos are taken from our victory against Richfield on December 20, 2017. Thanks to Westhauser for these memories.

It's the 6G boys turn at the Richfield Tournament this weekend. 6G Black put on a good show downing Richfield White 31-13. Check out the mash-up. Their next game is Saturday vs Richfield Red at 2p. 6G Gold fell to HNR Friday 32-22. Their next game is Saturday morning at 9a against Richfield-5. Good Luck 6G Wildcats!!

The Third Place game at the HNR Tournament on Sunday, January 28 was actually an interclub game between our 8G Gold team and our 7G boys Tournament team. Both teams played each other at Central on Monday, January 22. 8G Gold commanded most of the game, but the 7G Tour team utilized a full-court press in the waning minutes to pull out the victory. In the rematch on HNR Tournament Sunday, the 7G boys tried from the start to put some distance between themselves and their 8G Gold opponents, but couldn't stretch far enough away. Finally in the second half, everything came together. They cruised to an easy victory.

Didn't the 6G Gold team hit a Buzzer Be**er in the Richfield Tournament last year? Lightning strikes again for this class. A Buzzer Be**er last Sunday in the HNR Tournament helped the 7G Tournament team roll past 8G Gold. In the words of recently deceased broadcaster Dick Enberg, Ohhhhh Myyyy!!!!

Central's 8G Girls pulled off an amazing victory Sunday, January 28 to win Third Place in the HNR Tournament. After forfeiting Saturday's game due to only having three players left after injuries, Sunday's game looked impossible to assemble a team. All players returned to the court on Sunday except one (Emily on crutches) and turned in a hard, physical battle to win 20-13. This video features clips from the Central 8G Girls vs HNR in the Richfield Tournament one week ago. The team photo at the end is from the HNR Tournament Sunday, January 28.

The Central 8G Black team bounced back from an opening loss to Hustisford in the HNR Tournament. They crushed West Bend and cruised by host HNR to take the Consolation Championship. Congratulations!!
