Being comfortable in your own skin doesn’t always come easy. I used to struggle with body dysmorphia for many years, and to be honest sometimes it still comes back if I get distracted.
But I also remember times when I wouldnt be able to wear a bikini to the beach, when I would escaped taking pictures or even hanging out with my friends just because I felt “fat”.
To me being “fat” was equal to “not being worthy”.
It was a constant battle of losing few pounds, feeling like im walking with my eyes closed, not knowing what to do, experimenting, eventually falling deep into awful eating disorders just for my weight (and self esteem) to fluctuate non stop.
It wasnt over until I started weight lifting and learning how to shape my body, instead of non stop doing cardio.
Since I gained muscles I didnt become more manly or bulky. I gained my confidence and built my self esteem up. I started feeling confident in my body 😊❤️

Thats why I became a trainer. I know exactly what you’re struggling with, i always come from a place of compassion and self love.
Because everything always starts from self love ❤️

Kids do what they see us do, not what we tell them to do! Lets be a good example 😊💪🏼

I have been meditating and working with many relaxation methods for a while now, and one thing I noticed was that my daughter started copying me. I also started noticing her sitting down and taking couple deep breaths every time she has a stressful or tense moment or whenever I tell her to relax.
I’ll take it as a win 😊

Lifting weights is not good for women? Strong women are not sexy? Women with muscular arms don’t look good? Don’t lift weights because you will look like a man 🤦🏻‍♀️😳

How many times did you hear that? I hope not too many. But I remember hearing them many many times before I started my journey! Even when i was already lifting weights there were still people telling me its pointless or wandering why “she doesn’t look like a fitness trainer even though she works out so much” 😳

It’s sad how society will discourage us from doing something new based on the fake beliefs!
I’m glad at some point of my life I stopped listening to others and took matter into my own hands! Now I can say lifting weights gave me a lot, starting from tons of confidence and finishing on more mental clarity and peace ✌🏼😊

Sticking to new habits can be very challenging at times, especially busy ones!
Believe me, I know something about it. Im a full time mom, I’m working in the evenings, we dont have a babysitter and I still manage to go to the gym almost every day! Im not saying this to brag, im saying this to show you that you can do it too!
Recently I heard somebody say that in order for the habit to stick with us, its best to pick it up during the hardest times! It makes sense! If you can do it when you barely have time, you can for sure do it in the easy times as well!
Just get up and goooo! 💪🏼🏋🏻‍♀️
