We did it! The annual The Ride H.O.M.E. took place on Saturday October 4th with sunshine and bikes and lots of smiles!

On Sunday the 5th we added The Ride Around - a self guided bike tour showcasing the gems Oceana County offers to cyclists with photo ops galore!

We want to take a moment and thank our sponsors! These local businesses are core members of the community and without their participation as well as encouragement, The Ride Around H.O.M.E. - Weekend of cycling wouldn't exist!

When you're in Hart next, stop in at any or all of them and see what they have to offer!

Lastly, save the date(s)! We plan to host The Ride Around H.O.M.E. - Weekend of cycling on Saturday October 3rd and Sunday October 4th 2026! Keep an eye out the first of the year for early bird pricing!!

The big day(s) are about here! The Ride Around H.O.M.E. - Weekend of Cycling is upon us!

Do one, do both but make sure you take advantage of this beautiful weather and even more beautiful riding area!

We have plenty of sweet and salty snacks, energy packets for your water bottles, a post ride cup of chili or soup and a fabulous T-shirt!

Saturday's event The Ride H.O.M.E. has a portion of the proceeds going to the Pentwater Hart Trail fund. If you love the Hart - Montague trail, you'll agree extending a multi-use paved trail to Pentwater is a must!!

Sunday's event is for the cycling purist who likes bike touring and doesn't mind some miles and elevation! Along your ride you'll see some of the gems of Oceana County. Whether it's an aid station at beautiful Shelby Twp Park (flusher toilets, a bike repair stand etc.), or a visit to Little Point Sable Lighthouse, Cedar Point County park overlooking Lake Michigan or downtown Pentwater. Enjoy the rolling hills and spectacular sites and weather.

We hope to see you, registration online ends tonight and switches to walk-ups each day for an increased price so get your registration in right away while you're thinking of it!!
