What a year we have had this year. This has been a year of up and downs but this team never seems to amaze me.
We had 3 of our teams quality for State and they all finished in the top 25. That is very impressive to be able to catch fish for two days stright. These guys put there heart in this tournament and wore there emotions on there shoulders. I am so proud of this finish in the State Tournament they represented Garrard County in a BIG WAY.

James Saylor & Kyler Moore 25th place with a total weight of 20.65 lbs

Congratulations guys we are already looking forward to next season. Looking for bigger and better things to come.

Today is the last day of the High School all three 3 of our teams are in a position to make it to national. We are super proud of these teams. Thay have laid it all on the line. All three teams had a solid 5 fish limit yesterday so today we are swinging for the fences. Wish us luck today. Also a special thank
you to all the sponsors and everyone that has help along the way this year. It would not be possible without you.

I would like to ask everyone to wish these two young men good luck at Kentucky Lake this weekend. We will be rolling out tomorrow afternoon to head down for practice. They will be fishing Saturday Morning at the KHSA state tournament. Hopefully they will have a great tournament this weekend. Goodluck James Saylor and Kyler Moore.
Also in June we have 3 teams that have qualified for the Bass Nation State tournament on Barren River. Can't wait to see what the future holds for this team.

Wow what an amazing last couple of weekend. I am excited to say that we have 3 teams going to State on the Bass Nation side and 1 team on the KHSA side. All of these teams ha e worked their tales off to fish this year. We have several new ones that started this year and we are looking forward to what the future holds for GCHS.
