It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of a former coach and member of our softball family, Scott Bruck.

Scott spent several years coaching within our organization, giving his time, energy, and heart to the game and, most importantly, to the young athletes he had the opportunity to coach. Last season, Scott and his team continued their softball journey into travel ball, but they remained very much a part of the softball community and the relationships built on our fields.

Those who knew Scott knew him as much more than a coach. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a man of faith, and someone who truly cared about the people around him. His presence on the field and the impact he made on his players, fellow coaches, families, and our organization will not be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Scott’s wife, his daughters, his family, his players, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him during this incredibly difficult time.

Another week of softball is in the books for Adam’s Watermakers, and these young ladies continue to impress.

From big hits and strong defensive plays to great attitudes and teamwork, they are representing HGS the right way. Their hard work, dedication, and love for the game are showing, and it has been exciting to watch their progress throughout the season.

Great game by the 8U Adam’s Watermakers (Byrd) vs. East Central Saturday! ❄️🥎

They powered through a cold start and stayed locked in during a tight one-run battle through five innings. When it mattered most, the bats came alive in the top of the 6th, helping seal a strong 5–1 victory.

Tough, focused, and resilient from start to finish. Awesome job, girls! 💪🔥

Final: 8-0 WIN

Temps may have been cold, but the bats were hot, the defense was locked in, and the energy never dropped. Proud of the effort all the way around. Keep it rolling! 🔥🥎

Cold weather didn’t slow these girls down! ❄️🥎

Hawk Insurance 5U (Wolfram) took on White Oak this Saturday, and despite the chilly temps, the girls showed up ready to play. They played hard, kept the energy up, and most importantly had a ton of fun out there.

Proud of the effort and smiles all around. That’s what it’s all about!

We bear heavy hearts as we reflect on the passing of Harrison High School teacher, Mr. Steve Coffman, yesterday.

Mr. Coffman dedicated his life to education and to the students of our community. Throughout his years in the classroom and his involvement in athletics, he impacted countless lives with his patience, consistency, and genuine care for others.

Many within our softball community were fortunate to know him, learn from him, or simply feel his presence around the school and athletic programs. He gave his time and energy without hesitation and made a lasting difference in the lives of those around him.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, colleagues, and all who are grieving this loss.

The Harrison community will not forget the impact Mr. Coffman made.

Rest in peace, Mr. Coffman.

The energy, attention to detail, and knowledge you brought made a real impact. The girls put in great work, learned a lot, and had a blast doing it.

We truly appreciate you sharing your time and experience with our players and helping them grow at the plate.
