Congratulations to everyone involved in making Salute to the Stars such a wonderful success! We are incredibly proud of our dancers for their beautiful performances and enthusiasm on stage. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the backstage helpers, stage managers, stagehands, concession stand volunteers, and ushers who generously gave their time and energy to help the show run smoothly. Your hard work behind the scenes was invaluable. Finally, thank you to all of our audience members for supporting our dancers this past weekend and throughout the year!

*Don't wait! Get your tickets now! Only a few seats remain for each performance.*

Susquehanna Dance Academy proudly presents its 8th annual June show, Salute to the Stars! This variety dance show will feature ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop performances set to music by some of the greatest artists of all time. The show opens with a patriotic ballet to John Philip Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever in celebration of America’s 250th birthday. The first act will also include dances inspired by selections from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. In the second act, audiences will enjoy an energetic mix of performances to music by Queen, The Beatles, Madonna, James Brown, Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, and more.

The dancers, under the direction of Artistic Director Kimberly Klick, Associate Artistic Director Brittany Ross, and instructors Kate Manley, Kristin Kellum-Shearer, and Chiara Meyers, will take the stage on Friday, June 12, and Saturday, June 13, at 7:00 p.m. at the Sunoco Performance Theater at Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts. Tickets are reserved seating and are now available to the public! Tickets are $20 in advance, $22 at the door. For tickets, call 717-461-3909. In-studio rehearsals were a success this past weekend! Our dancers worked incredibly hard as they put the finishing touches on their dances, and we are so proud of not only their dedication, but also the support they showed one another. We can't wait to see them shine on stage this weekend!

A huge thank you to all of our parents, grandparents, and family members who helped make in-studio rehearsals run so smoothly! From getting dancers to rehearsal on time to keeping them fed, hydrated, and supported, your efforts make all the difference. We are incredibly grateful for your encouragement, patience, and commitment. Thank you for being such an important part of our dance family—we couldn't do it without you!
