What a summer it has been at SDA! This summer, we offered two ballet intensives for our serious ballet students, giving them the opportunity to improve their technique, strengthen their skills, and grow as artists.

During our first intensive, our intermediate II & III and advanced ballet students worked diligently to refine their technique and expand their artistry while learning the Odile variation from Swan Lake.

At the second intensive, our intermediate I and beginner II students worked at strengthening their feet and ankles, properly engaging their turnout muscles, and improving their overall technique. They also learned choreography to The Nutcracker's Mother Ginger and Her Polichinelles.

We are incredibly proud of all of our students for the hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm they demonstrated throughout their intensives. What a wonderful summer of growth, learning, and dancing!

Congratulations to everyone involved in making Salute to the Stars such a wonderful success! We are incredibly proud of our dancers for their beautiful performances and enthusiasm on stage. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the backstage helpers, stage managers, stagehands, concession stand volunteers, and ushers who generously gave their time and energy to help the show run smoothly. Your hard work behind the scenes was invaluable. Finally, thank you to all of our audience members for supporting our dancers this past weekend and throughout the year!
