Halfway through the program, and the kids are killing it!! Team Dragons is in the lead, but not by much! Blake is leading the 6-8 age group, Ben is leading the 9-11 age group, and Emily is leading the 12-13 age group!

This. Obviously the focus will always be on the medalists, but to be an Olympian at all is THE pinnacle of athletics.

There is nothing greater. The nature of the 4 year cycle means that, for most, they work their entire lives to have 1 shot at making the team.

They sacrifice everything for 1 shot to compete against the best in the world on the Olympic stage.

Congrats to every Olympian that competed in 2024, and hats off to their support teams. No one makes it alone.

The inaugural session of the JAWS Program is set to begin August 20 through Town of Harrisburg, NC and Harrisburg Weightlifting Club

Registration opens Aug 1, and will no doubt fill up shortly after. Set a reminder and head to the Parks and Rec department at the Town of Harrisburg for registration info.
