Harrisburg Heat 12U - Boudreaux

This past weekend we played our final spring tournament! We stepped up and played a 14u Perfect Game tournament at Flowe Park. Not only did we try 14u, but we got matched up against two 14u A TEAMS both which have to move up to 16u in the Fall. Our girls didn’t back down and took the challenge head on and held their own. We didn’t play our best ball, and came up a little short in bracket play but it was a great learning experience for all of them seeing the faster and stronger play.

🥎🔥 First Perfect Game Tournament = Valuable Lessons & Silver Bracket Runner-Up 🔥🥎

Harrisburg Heat 12U – Boudreaux wrapped up our very first Perfect Game Charlotte Softball tournament this weekend going 2-2 on the day and bringing home Runner-Up in the Silver Bracket. 🥈

If we’re being real… this probably wasn’t our greatest outing overall. We didn’t play our cleanest softball, had moments we know we could’ve been better, and definitely left some things out on the field. But even through that, these girls kept fighting, stayed together, and found a way to compete & prove they can battle with anybody- and that says a lot about this team. 💪

There were still bright spots today:
🔥 Dylan Klimala hit .667 with an incredible .875 OBP
🔥 Gabi Flores hit .600
🔥 Cora Lawrence and Ryleigh Trueblood both hit .500
🔥 Harper Blake came through with key extra-base hits

Growth doesn’t always happen during perfect weekends. Sometimes it comes from adversity, learning moments, and figuring out how to respond when things aren’t clicking the way you want them to.

Proud of these girls for continuing to battle, learn, and represent the Heat the right way. First PG tournament in the books… now back to work. 🖤🧡 Thank you Kristen & Mike for a great tournament! See you in 2 weeks! 😉
