What a great performance by the Harrisburg Gurkhas in the PAUCA 2026!

πŸ”₯ GURKHAS BOWLERS DOMINATE

Gurkhas’ bowling attack put BLASTERS under pressure from the very beginning, restricting them to just 77/8 in 20 overs.

πŸ’₯ Basu Dhungana was outstanding, taking 4 wickets for just 11 runs in 4 overs, including a maiden. He struck twice in the very first over and set the tone for the entire innings. Deependra Dangal also bowled brilliantly, taking 2 wickets for only 9 runs. Tara Adhikari also bowled well, giving away only 11 runs in 4 overs. Bhagat Bhandari also bowled well, taking 1 wicket and giving away 20 runs in 4 overs.

The Gurkhas bowlers kept attacking throughout the innings and never allowed BLASTERS to build a big partnership.

🏏 GURKHAS BATSMEN HOLD THEIR NERVE

Chasing 78 runs, the Gurkhas faced a tough fight from the BLASTERS bowling attack.

⭐ Bhagat Bhandari played an important innings of 15 runs to help stabilize the chase.
Khagen Dhimal played a brilliant innings of 12 runs and had a long partnership with Bhagat. Deependra Dangal’s quick 2 boundaries helped release the pressure on the Gurkhas. Harrisburg Gurkhas Post a Strong Total
Opting to bat, the Harrisburg Gurkhas laid a solid foundation for their victory. The opening powerplay saw a lively start, with a notable high-scoring over in the 4th, yielding 23 runs and featuring consecutive boundaries from Suk Thingh. The partnership between Basu Dhungana and Suk Thingh flourished, reaching a 50-run milestone. Suk Thingh was instrumental in the innings, smashing 66 runs off just 40 balls, including an impressive 8 sixes. He reached his half-century in spectacular fashion in the 8th over, which itself was a high-scoring one with 25 runs. Despite the loss of Suk Thingh, Anil Neupane continued the momentum, remaining unbeaten on 61 off 34 balls. His innings was punctuated by powerful hitting, including consecutive boundaries in the 16th over. What a performance by the Harrisburg Gurkhas in the Saathi Cup 2026! πŸ”₯

Everest Cricket Club was bowled out for just 62 runs in 18.4 overs, with Anil Neupane leading the attack with an outstanding 3 wickets 1 maiden and given only 4 runs. Tara Adhikari also picked up 2 wickets 1 maiden and given only 12 runs, while Basu Dhungana took 1 wicket 2 maiden and given only 2 runs. Also Subodh Wagle took 1 wicket and given only 8 runs in 4 overs.

Chasing 63, the Gurkhas reached the target in just 13 overs, finishing at 63/4. Bhagat Bhandari played a crucial unbeaten knock of 26, while Anil Neupane contributed a valuable 10 runs.

The Harrisburg Gurkhas came into the game ready to fight, and our players stepped up when the team needed them most.

With the bat, Basu Dhungana played a valuable innings, scoring 18 runs from 20 balls, including a boundary. Subodh Wagle provided a quick boost with 16 runs off just 10 balls, hitting three boundaries. Anil Neupane also contributed 13 important runs from 16 balls.

Then came the bowling attack! Basu Dhungana delivered an outstanding spell, bowling 4 overs with 3 maidens, taking 1 wicket and giving away only 4 runs. Tara Adhikari also stepped up with the ball, taking 2 important wickets and putting pressure on the opposition.
