🏐 Southeastern Illinois College is now hiring a Head Volleyball Coach!

Southeastern Illinois College is looking for a Head Volleyball Coach. This position supervises all aspects of the College’s NJCAA sanctioned Women’s Volleyball team. Responsibilities include coaching, recruiting, organizing practices, scheduling games, maintaining team budget and overseeing all aspects of running a college program. This is a stipend-only position. College Volleyball experience preferred.

Carly graduates from Penn Foster Online High School and will major in Outfitter Wildlife Management with plans to become a Conservation Officer.

SIGNED: SIC Men's Basketball has announced the signing of Arden Smith, a 6'8" forward from Westview High School in Martin, Tennessee. As a senior at Westview, Smith earned all-district, all-region, Region MVP, and all-state honors as he led his team to a TSSAA State runner-up finish.

Another future Falcon is officially headed to SIC as Brody Watts signs with Falcon Bowling! 🦅

Falcon head coach Doug Cottom said Watts first caught the program’s attention after reaching out with interest in competing at the collegiate level.

“Brody actually reached out to us about playing at the next level, as he wasn’t really on our radar initially because his high school doesn’t offer bowling,” Cottom said. “After sitting down with him and his parents and watching him throw the ball, it became obvious there’s a ton of potential there.”

Cottom believes Watts has a bright future ahead with continued development and experience around the sport.

“With a strong summer of practice and simply being around the game more consistently, I’m confident he’ll show up in the fall ready to go,” Cottom added. “It’s going to be a major adjustment for him, but it’s one I absolutely think he can make. He’s an athlete and comes from a very athletic family.”
