With miles of wooded and open horse trails for all levels of experience, riders can spend hours without seeing the same terrain. Many locations have been groomed for stopovers, which could include a meal break and a rest stop. We have large turn-around for horse trailers and our full hook-up RV sites feature 30 and 50 amp connections as well as 110 outlets. Outdoor horse wash racks are available a
nd they are serviced by a continuous hot water heater! A limited number of indoor and outdoor covered horse stalls are available at a daily fee and temporary stalls can be made available with advance notice for a nominal fee. Our lodges and full-hook up RV sites are co-located and limited camping is permitted within the RV sites/lodge area so groups traveling together who need varied overnight accommodations may still be co-located! For our campers, a shower house with on-demand hot water is completed with horse wash areas attached with on-demand hot water! The shower house also offers a washer/dryer, kitchen sink, gas grill (BBQ) and a microwave. Primitive camping is allowed throughout the area. Free firewood is provided at all sites. We have a limited amount of fire rings provided at no extra charge. The horse and hiking trails have been "GPS'd" and we can provide them to you when you arrive. Overnight guests may also enjoy our numerous stocked ponds for fishing and depending upon the time of the year, other activities such as mushroom hunting, nut gathering, and wild berry picking. Hunting is also offered during certain times of the year. Rates vary depending upon the season selected. Our lodges are fully equipped to include linen, pots and pans, washer/dryer, satellite TV and have central heat and AC. Our smallest lodge is two bedrooms with two twin beds each, a large living room with two sofa sleepers and an adjacent kitchen with full-size appliances. Other lodges are up to 1,800 square feet and accommodate up to 16 people in beds or sofa sleepers. Our facility is located in north-central Missouri, off Route 139 & E, approximately 50 miles west of Kirksville.
