You know that warm up your trainer always begs you to do before any activity or exercise? The stretching we ask you to do before each workout? The boring 3 minute routine that you usually half ass or completely skip because you don’t think it’s useful to you and you’d rather “get the whole 30 or 60 minute workout” ?(even though you’ll be dead and asking for a water break 5 minutes in) Yeah, that warm up routine is actually one of the most important parts of your workout.

Warming up is actually exercising, it’s where those muscles are all being activated and told “hey it’s time to wake up and do work, get ready!” It reduces risk of injury and allows for a much better performance during said workout that follows.

Bottom line, DONT SKIP THE WARM UP! 😁
