It cannot be overstated the adversity that this group has overcome this season. They entered the last tournament with significantly fewer athletes than anticipated. Injuries, other commitments, and various other factors could have easily justified a premature conclusion.
In the first game of the day, we suffered an additional athlete’s absence due to stomach illness, leaving us with nine players for the remainder of the day. Despite these challenges, these athletes persevered through each game. Some were assigned roles they may not have been accustomed to, while others were expected to perform beyond their current responsibilities. Ultimately, the record will never fully encapsulate the true extent of their triumph on this day and throughout the season.
We extend our profound pride to this group and the remarkable achievements they have accomplished this season. We eagerly anticipate the contributions that the Summer 2026 season will bring to these athletes.
