Our 2025-2026 season has come to an end. Our qualified teams fished the 2026 KHSAA State championship on KY Lake this past weekend. All three teams fished hard and finished great. We are proud of their hard work pre fishing and sticking to it through two days of tournament.

Boys/Co-Ed Division
- Klay Rhodes/Sawyer Pate: 15th in the state of KY

Girls Division
- Kenley Armes/Autumn Pile: 9th in the state of KY
- Ginny Butler/Hattie Hinton: 10th in the state of KY

Good luck to our teams competing in the 2026 KHSAA State Championship today and tomorrow on KY Lake! Looking forward to seeing them weigh in!

Our 2026 Regionals on lake Barkley has been completed. We had 6 teams in the boys/co-ed division and 3 teams in the girls division. They competed against over 100 other teams on a tough lake that most are unfamiliar with.

We had 1 team advance to state on the boys side and 2 teams advance to state on the girls side.

Boys:
Klay Rhodes/Sawer Pate- 8th
**They are 4 time state qualifiers!**

Girls:
Ginny Butler/Hattie Hinton- 4th
Kenley Armes/Autumn Pile- 7th

While our other teams came up short at weigh in, we are beyond proud of their dedication during the regular season and practicing for this tournament. Some of them will return next year and some are seniors leaving us.

Good luck to two of our Breckinridge County fishing team members Klay Rhodes and Sawyer Pate. They took off this morning on Clark’s Hill Lake in Georgia, competing against 200+ other teams on Day 1 of 3 in the 2025 Bassmaster HS National championship!

BCHS Fishing threw down this week, Klay Rhodes and Sawyer Pate fished against 72 other teams in the Kentucky Bass Nation State Championship and brought home 1st place!
They will advance to the National Championship on Clarks Hills Reservoir in Georgia next month!

These two have continued to show out at each tournament they fish!

Congrats to Klay Rhodes on his impressive finish in the Kentucky Bass Nation central Hardin trail during tournaments 3 and 4, he finished 5th in stop 3 and 2nd in stop 4 and sealed his spot in the state championship, finishing 3rd in the angler of the year standing. Good luck at state!
