Good luck to two of our Breckinridge County fishing team members Klay Rhodes and Sawyer Pate. They took off this morning on Clark’s Hill Lake in Georgia, competing against 200+ other teams on Day 1 of 3 in the 2025 Bassmaster HS National championship!

BCHS Fishing threw down this week, Klay Rhodes and Sawyer Pate fished against 72 other teams in the Kentucky Bass Nation State Championship and brought home 1st place!
They will advance to the National Championship on Clarks Hills Reservoir in Georgia next month!

These two have continued to show out at each tournament they fish!

Congrats to Klay Rhodes on his impressive finish in the Kentucky Bass Nation central Hardin trail during tournaments 3 and 4, he finished 5th in stop 3 and 2nd in stop 4 and sealed his spot in the state championship, finishing 3rd in the angler of the year standing. Good luck at state!

Our 2025 regionals is complete. Our anglers competed against over 100 other teams on Lake Barkley. Our anglers fished hard on a lake that most were unfamiliar with. We had 4 boys teams weigh in and 3 of those teams qualified for the state championship on Lake Cumberland next week May 9-10. We also had 3 girls teams compete in regionals this year, although they came up short we are very proud of their commitment and ready to see them back in action next season!

Congratulations to Klay, Sawyer, Guy, Harper, Kameron and Ian for being in the top 26 and qualifying for state!

Klay/Sawyer are 3 time state qualifiers!
Guy/Harper are 2 time state qualifiers!
