Dance Community Center’s primary goal is to provide at atmosphere for learning and exposing under privileged children to many areas of the arts. We want to teach them where it came from, why it exists, and whose job it is to continue the tradition. A dancer’s skill and technique will develop with ballet. ce comes from understanding the religious and symbolism behind the dances. Hip Hop is the popular dance of the era. Children are enthusiastic about what is familiar to their generation and they want to experience that. We want to help them learn it, master it, and feel confident enough to perform it. Whichever the genre, there is much to teach about it. This is our goal. This is a new venture, a new approach to enlighten a generation in our community that may not otherwise have had the opportunity.
