Meet Our Trainer:
Ann Taylor is from Columbia, SC with a background in the Hunters and Jumpers. She grew up competing in the Hunters and Equitation and received multiple year-end awards, as well as competed and qualified in multiple Equitation Medal Finals. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a double major in Marketing and HR Management and a minor in Psychology.
Throughout college, she rode for local trainers and spent the summers on the road with different professionals in the South East. Including Patty Foster and Marylisa Leffler out of Rolling Acres Farm in Maryland; Chad Keenum and Lisa Mitchell in Virginia; Darrell Vaughn in Aiken, SC; Harrison Ford in Atlanta, GA; and Nicole Palazzo from Augusta, GA.
She has galloped yearlings on the racetrack as well as worked with retraining ex-racehorses. Ann enjoys working with riders and horses of all ages and experience levels. She brings an enthusiastic attitude to her lessons and believes that a firm foundation is key to success in the ring.
Ann is also the Office Manager of a dental practice and teaches lessons in the evening and on the weekends. Lessons are scheduled by the Instructor at times that are convenient to both the Instructor and Student. All students are required to wear ASTM certified helmets, approved riding boots, breeches/jodphurs, or jeans and chaps during their lesson.
