Yes, it's true... the VFW is officially closing... I don't know any of the details beyond that our last day of operation is set for the 19th, next Saturday. Thank you, everyone, for you patronage... it's been a wild ride.

As it is Cinco de Mayo I would like to take a moment to thank Mexico. If someone hadn't taken the time to put down a French uprising, who knows how the history of the US could have been changed. So instead I have decided to have a find your beach party tonite. Yes I will have $2.50 cervesas and $3.00 margaritas (strawberry or classic) and a nacho bar (ready around 6)... no charge for food, but donations are appreciated! Save the Vets Club!
