As promised our Labor day report.
Mark, Kevin, Tom, Brody, Larry and Eric met us at the dock at 630am and soon we were pointed North and running on plane out to deepwater. We set up in 105 and deployed our program. We had divers set on a 1 1/2 and 3 running back 130 and 150. Set up our boards with Bomber 24as running clean on our 5 color cores on one side and 2oz weighted deep jr thundersticks on 5 cores on the other. We set up a pair of riggers pulling spoons 55 to 70 down. Rigger and diver bite was incredible contributing to most of our box. Boards added maybe 8 fish with the sticks doing the best. Our custom green legacy took big fish honors. Thanks Dan!
Even had a big Steelhead eat an NBK stinger and then throw it back near the face of my mate just before it could be netted! Fun fight! Worked our way in to about 80ft on great fishing all the way. Finished up with a full box of 36 heavy eyes for the crew and 3 more on the takedown for the mate. Also this trip was given to Mark as a birthday gift from his girl. How awesome is that? Ladies take note!
Again a great day with a great crew!

Labor day weekend recap. Had an awesome two trips starting with returning friend Nick K. Went out into definitely not 2ft or less and made the call to head North so we could turn and troll with the 2 to 4s with an occasional, damn that one was big! Set down in 105 ft and were on fish in no time. Nick and Zack were busy on the rods constantly until they had a full box and boat limit. Capt and mate appreciate the fillets as well! Hot bite was our mag divers. Insides on a 1 1/2 back 130 and outsides on a 3 back 140 to 150. All pulling jointed Rapalas purple and firetiger. Riggers with nbk and green frog fired steadily as well. Boards were slow but the riggers and divers were so hot we didnt mind basically the additional pull of the boards helped keep our speed down in following seas and wind. Thanks again Nick and Zack it was our pleasure having you guys aboard!

8/28/26 Had the absolute pleasure of having Nancy and her family aboard! Decided to fish new water today. Thanks Joe and Jackson for the intel. We pointed the Adrenaline north of the point and ran out into the 2ft or less noaa forecast.... Ended up setting down just shy of 80 in 2 to 4s from the North. Wanted to push out deeper however fear of the Erie flu had me turn to go with them to give my crew a more comfortable ride. It worked. Dipseys were firing as soon as they hit the water! Lows 1 1/2 back 120-130 highs on a 3 back 140-150 pulling jointed Rapalas on all. Set boards up with Bayrat lxds on one and jr deep Thundersticks on the other. Became clear that as much as I love my tsticks that the lxds were more in the zone so we changed them out. Purples and greens were the ticket.
End of the day the divers were on fire with boards chipping in. Never needed to set any riggers. Steady bite and filled the box with a nice class of fish including a crazy aerial Steelie that couldnt resist a purple jointed Rapala on a low diver! Great fishing, great crew. Great fun!
Thanks again Nancy, Kim, Derek and Emily!

8/22/26. Today we had an outstanding crew on board the Adrenaline. Josh, Pat, Rick and Gary. After delaying departure to allow a storm cell to pass over we headed out on a mission to put some Walleye in the box! Mission success! Ran down to west of the condos before turning east with the waves on our stern. Set down in 72ft and immediately started taking fish on our divers. Inside 1 1/2 back 120 and outsides on a 3 back 140. Went with jointed rapalas in purple and firetiger and they were hot!
Ran my thundersticks also, seniors on one board and jr deeps on the other. The extra depth the seniors had gave them a slight advantage so I decided to add weight to my jr side. As I pulled in the jrs we saw another cell developing west of us. Checked the radar pic and made the call that one more Walleye to box out wasnt worth the risk of what could possibly develop. Racked the program and made the run back to port. Guys finished with 23 nice eyes headed to a hot oil sauna along with 2 throwbacks, and a couple drops. Seems they were short striking. Sorry for a lack of pics but it was crazy on the back deck in a good way! Thanks again guys it was a pleasure fishing with you all!
