Earlier this month Nub’s made history as the first Midwest Ski Area to win the Conversion Cup award at the convention.

The conversion cup is all about turning beginner skiers and riders into life long enthusiasts. Something that we pride ourselves on ❤️

Our Odyssey program is designed to do exactly that! We want newcomers to feel welcomed to the slopes and that means we had to examine a few different things.

1. Lower the barrier to entry.
2. Provide a welcoming environment in which to learn.
3. Stoke the flame of interest.
4. Make it easy for participants to keep coming back.

Our Snowsports Odyssey program gets you on the hill without breaking the bank, includes rentals and tickets, and gives you the opportunity to purchase a season pass and gear (at a heavily discounted rate) upon completion 🤙

It was a big night at the conference 💥

Last night Nub’s Nob won the Conversion Cup at the National Ski Areas Association’s conference in Carlsbad, CA. We are the first Midwest Ski Area to win this award for getting first-timers on the slope.

NSAA’s Conversion Cup celebrates the ways ski areas go about turning first-time skiers and riders into repeat customers, and ultimately lifelong enthusiasts of the sport. NSAA’s Conversion Cup challenge is a friendly competition among member ski areas that closely aligns with the industry’s critical goal of growing participation in our sports.
