We play to be a part of something much bigger than ourselves. We join together. We believe in one another. We push each other to achieve a level of greatness that can only be achieved when we all work as one. Our quiet confidence comes from knowing that even though we come from all walks of life, and we might face a few more talented teams along the way. Collectively we will rely on extreme hustle, grit, and each other to beat our challengers. We are blue collar through and through. Don’t worry about the things we can’t control, it’s a waste of time. The only thing we can control stepping out on the diamond is effort and attitude. We give 100% of both, and we will see results. Grasp the urgency of now and win every pitch and then do it again. Then when the last pitch is finally won and the final out has been called. Then and only then can we answer the questions everyone has been asking. A single game or a single tournament doesn’t define a winning team. True winners arrive at their goal in the early morning hours. A determined force, under a common purpose, and personal agendas aside, mentally driving their bodies and their teammates beyond fatigue, beyond pain, beyond reason, to see how far we can push our limits to achieve greatness. This makes up a team and this is the essence winning.
