This year, we're partnering with the HanscomFit Challenge to bring everyone together for this incredible workout to honor the service and sacrifice of those who have given their lives in service to the nation.

We will run one heat, and everyone will do the workout together.

If you have a weight vest, the prescribed weight is 20lbs for men, 14 lbs for women.

We’re excited to launch our Macronutrient Nutrition Challenge, designed to help you fuel your workouts, recover faster, and build sustainable habits—without extreme dieting or cutting out foods you love.

The challenge will start January 12 and run until February 20.
You must sign up by 7AM Friday, January 9.

You can sign up on the whiteboard at the gym.

This challenge is all about learning how to balance protein, carbohydrates, and fats to support:
Better performance in workouts
Improved body composition
More energy throughout the day
Consistency you can maintain long-term

You’ll learn how to:
Understand your personal macro targets
Build balanced meals that fit your training
Stay consistent while still enjoying real life
This is not a “who can suffer the most” challenge. It’s about education, accountability, and dialing in nutrition to match the work you’re already putting in at the gym.

We'll provide tools and information on what counting macros is, and how to calculate your macros (we have multiple options from our own calculator to trusted online calculators).

Join us Saturday, November 15, 2025, for Chad 1000x.

The workout: 1000 box step-ups on a 20" box with a 35/45lbs ruck.

We have scaled and partner options so anyone can participate.

CHAD1000X is a CrossFit Hero workout written in honor of Navy SEAL Senior Chief Chad Wilkinson, who died by su***de on Oct. 29, 2018, as a result of several traumatic brain injuries, blast-wave injuries, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), stemming from many deployments across more than two decades of service.

The CrossFit community joins together annually in November in thousands of CrossFit affiliates and garage gyms around the world to tackle this workout in Chad’s memory, raising funds to support Veteran Mental Health Initiatives through The Step Up Foundation, an organization Sara, Chad’s wife, founded in Chad’s honor to change the narrative concerning the number of veteran su***des by dramatically expanding awareness regarding the effects of blast-wave injury, traumatic brain injuries, and post-traumatic stress.
