You didn’t think this was an all-male function, did you? Our very own Jillian Martin is here to help us combat that rumor. Queen Jillian is an Engineering major who, lucky for us, is returning for a fifth year so she can be a BE baddie. While, alas, she hasn’t quite planned for tomorrow morning, she’s registered for classes, so she’s stuck with us.
Even better, we get to continue being serenaded by Jillian’s a ca****la expertise as she sings “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus while the group struggles up a hill. No shocker, her favorite DCT memories include singing “The Climb” with the DCT women (they do exist), sleeping through every long car ride, and watching the Tour highlights over Spring Break.
We’d be worried the DCT soundtrack is about to suffer, but it’s okay—we’re solid for at least another year.

Today, we celebrate the funny, charismatic, and funny Connor Killilea ‘26. The man with the cute mustache graduated with a double major in Government modified with Economics and Spanish. Since graduation, Connor has unfortunately moved to Dallas where he purchased a peach tree and began his career in executive search. His favorite DCT memory is freshman year spring break where all of the 26s shared a bedroom at Albert’s Lodge. Take care of this peachy guy, Dallas 🥲

Jacob Spizter ‘26 is one of the Dartmouth Cycling Team’s most well rounded graduates. Jacob majored in History, Middle Eastern Studies, Digital Arts, and Film Studies while also minoring in Comparative Literature during his time in Hanover. Quite the breadth! His favorite DCT memory is climbing The Wall with Luke Sparks in Tennessee this year. A bit of a fun fact about his mother: she won a car on The Price is Right. Jacob plans on staying at Dartmouth for this coming year so he can spend more time with the DCT and work in the music department. We wish our little musician the best of luck in his career!

Up next is (Dr.)(Uncle?)(Druncle?) Jake Holt! Jake received his PHD in Biology and is leaving us for a post-doc at Yale. Fun fact about Jake: he has been a member of the DCT since its founding in 1961. When Jake isn’t riding his bike at ungodly hours in the morning, he is either planning the cross season and home race (rip) or taking underclassmen on sketchy ski lines. Good luck at Yale Jake!

Put your hands together for Dartmouth’s second most famous cycling influencer (right behind Andrew), Bond Almand ‘26! Although he may be graduating from the DCT, the multi-sport athlete still plans to ride his bike and (frick) around instead of seeking employment in the near future. During his time at Dartmouth, Bond majored in government while double minoring in climate science and environmental studies. Little known fact about Bond: his nickname is Gordo but he can still climb faster than Andrew Frank. His favorite memory with the DCT is building the grandma’s cross course with the lads for generations of DCT members to enjoy in the future. We wish you well in all of your future endeavors, Bond!

Up next is Divik Verma ‘26 from Breinigsville, PA. Divik graduated with a degree in Physics and Astronomy and is headed to Harvard for his PhD in physics. Important to note: his name is a combination of his parents’ names, Deepti and Vikram. This year, Divik served primarily as our nose breathing spin instructor and team camaraderie specialist (I think he was also home race organizer?). Divik will fondly remember building and lapping grandmas cross with the team. His cheerful and always supportive personality will be missed. We wish you the best in Boston!

It’s about that time of year again where we celebrate our recent DCT graduates. First up is Foco warrior John DeForest ‘25 Geisel ‘26. John graduated for the first time LAST year with “undergrizzle degrees” in mathematical data science and engineering sciences but decided to bless us with a fifth year (ferda) to earn his MS in health data science. He will be headed to Boston in the near future to work on a market research startup and do exercise physiology research. Fun fact: John did 231 pushups in a row when he was in third grade but still can’t do a sit-up. His favorite memories with the DCT include cross Monday shenanigans and spin room Norwegian edm raves. We will miss John’s bright and sendy personality but we know he will do great things wherever he goes.

Our very own Ben Hinchliffe ‘27 brought the stars and bars 🇺🇸🇺🇸 back to the Dartmouth Cycling Team winning the collegiate nationals road race by over 2 minutes!

After a strong performance in Friday’s TTT where the men nabbed third 🥉, Hinchy went solo in the road race with over a lap to go delivering a dominating win. In Sunday’s crit, Izzy Jensen ‘29 took fifth to close out a strong weekend of racing and an outstanding season.

A special thanks to our sponsors , Florence Healthcare, , and everyone else who has supported us this season.

SUPPORTERS OF THE DCT, WE NEED YOUR HELP to keep moo-ving forward 🐮

The Dartmouth Cycling Team is in the midst of our annual fundraising campaign. We are fortunate to experience the joys of cycling, and we want to keep providing students with the opportunity to experience our wonderful sport. The Cycling Team provides support to athletes at all levels, from national champions to cycling-curious students who have never ridden before. We depend on the funds raised from our annual fundraising challenge to keep the Cycling Team moooooving forward, rubber side down. We would be incredibly appreciative of any donation to our fundraiser, which can be found at the link in our bio. Even a few bucks can go a long way, and every donation helps us get closer to our “number of gifts” goal. Sharing the link also helps us out a ton as we try to get the word out on our fundraiser.

The link can be found in our bio. Thank you all!!!
