FIVE POINTS’ FIRST NATIONAL MEDAL! Today Nolan earned a bronze medal, placing 3rd out of 263 in the Division II national championship. Nolan faced strong opponents throughout the day, winning an overtime thriller against a phenomenal opponent in the round of 16 and putting on a defensive masterclass in the round of 8. We cannot emphasize enough how proud we are of Nolan for earning our club a medal at the national level— something that’s never been done before.

Today we had an outstanding time hosting the Five Points Spring Open! 40 fencers from clubs around New England attended and fenced their hearts out! Together we raised over $6,000 for Rose Thorn’s gender-affirming surgery that they successfully underwent in April. From the bottom of my heart, I can’t adequately express how grateful I am for how our allies in the fencing community have come together to support us, and as a trans coach, I feel our family is so embraced here on the South Shore. -Nova 💙 💛 🏳️‍⚧️ Congratulations to our medalists!
